One hospital, already filled with COVID-19 patients, had its roof torn off. But officials said evacuation from there is impossible because there’s nowhere to send patients.
Imagine if it were your house destroyed, the hospital your loved one is recovering in with its roof torn off … your business or church flooded … grocery stores devastated and food supplies ruined … your family ripped apart … your very life in danger.
Hurricane Ida has caused this terrifying reality for countless families in Louisiana. Your help is urgently needed to provide emergency disaster relief for the victims. Please PRAY – and sow a generous seed of faith now.
The unimaginable devastation is likely far from over:
- One parish, hit especially hard, said reentry could be delayed for a week or longer, before damage can even be assessed, leaving residents displaced indefinitely.
- The energy sector said it will take “days” to evaluate damage to their grid and “far longer” to restore service.
- Essential communication is being disrupted from down power lines and mass flooding … and even more rain is expected in an already oversaturated state: Some houses are flooded with water that's "up to the top of the roof."
But our Bridge of Hope team is standing by with food, water, and emergency disaster supplies to those most deeply impacted by this disaster.
Please help Bridge of Hope take action immediately! Your generous contribution now will extend the compassion of the Lord Jesus Christ to those in need – while helping to preach the Gospel to a lost and hurting world through our

Psalm 41:1–2 declares, “
How blessed is he who considers the helpless; the LORD will deliver him in a day of trouble. The LORD will protect him and keep him alive, and he shall be called blessed upon the earth.”
God bless you for your generosity!
